December is upon us and so are colder temperatures. Remember to water your plants before a freeze as this will insulate the root system and keep the plants alive. This is especially important for perennials where the foliage will freeze but the roots do not. Watering your perennials as well as evergreens ensure your plants will resurge beautifully next spring.
